Charcoal Pumpkin Drawing

This is my charcoal pumpkin drawing. My intention with this drawing was to really capture the set up I was looking at. I feel i accomplished them myself. This drawing focused on bringing out the lighted areas and the shadows. The most difficult part of this was making sure the size of the pumpkins where the same way paper. I accomplished this by really focusing and measuring things out. I really learned a lot about shadows and pulling out light. If i could re-do this project, i think i would focus on making less lines to the drawing and make it more the shapes. i think the best thing about my drawing are my shadows.

  1. I think some selective cropping would emphasize the fine drawing of the little pumpkin.(a smaller frame) I'll show you . The little pumpkin is drawn very accurately.
